Roger Stent, M.Sc., B.Sc., Dip Mgt, F Inst LM, FCMI, MAC, is an executive coach, mentor and management trainer with over twenty years’ experience in operations and business-to-business contract services, many at director and senior manager level for large PLCs within the private and regulated sectors. He has led major restructurings involving long-term negotiations with staff and workforce unions, including changes in working practices, multi-skilling and single-status. He specialises in designing and delivering development solutions unique to each client. He regularly coaches and mentors all levels of staff from Chief Executives downwards, and has a highly interactive and searching training style that encourages discussion and application through the use of Accelerated Learning techniques.

Roger specialises in the impact of organisational change, leadership and people development. His extensive experience has helped him train and coach clients within the NHS, the Houses of Parliament, Local Authorities, and major commercial organisations. He has supported less senior staff in developing their confidence and interpersonal skills, and in career development and outplacement counselling. Roger also has experience in virtual training, using online and telephone conferencing to deliver live, interactive sessions. Selecting the right trainer, coach and mentor is critical, and Roger welcomes the opportunity to talk informally with potential clients on a no-commitment basis to help them make the right choice.

Roger’s open and supportive approach to business and management enables him to bring a practical, enthusiastic and personal style to his training, coaching and consultancy. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Executive Coaching and Leadership Mentoring through OPM (the Office of Public Management) and a Certificate in Life Coaching, and is a Member of the Association of Coaching. He is a TAP qualified trainer, a registered practitioner of the British Psychological Society, a registered practitioner for Belbin Team Profiles, and Investors in People Practitione.
